I tried to play a Japanese version PS3 game on the UK PS3 (40GB). Y there is no colour when playing?

The game played properly, but there is no colour. The TV needs to be NTSC or any other problem?

That's your TV. It doesn't support NTSC format. Your PS3 is all right. Just get a NTSC -> PAL converter.

you need an adapter to run japanese games just like the PS2 did.

it could be because it is a blak and white game or because of the japaneise game because they can be a bit dodgy
