Okay, i have an 80's day at school and i wanted to make my hair big. Its already curly so im not sure if that helps.
Any tips on making my hair big, and last throughout the day?

Get a curling Iron hot and have tons of hair spray..
Curl your bangs backward with a medium barrel curling iron but before curling it back spray the part or the hair that will touch the curling iron liberally with hairspray, then curl back. Ease the hair out of the curling iron leaving the curl close to your head. Do about 3 rows of those(in your bangs) Mousse the rest of your hair and blow dry upside down for fullness. The tease your hair all over and lightly tease your bangs to make them stand high without falling and get your can of hairspray ready, When you hit the desired high spray the crap out of it from a distance of about 12 inches away.

Rent the movie VALLEY GIRL, you will rock the whole 80's look if you copy any of those hairstyles!! It will also give you great example of stereotype 80's clothes, accesories, music..

Tease the crown of your hair, spray with hairspray.
Tease your bangs ALOT. Use more hairspray.
Make waves in your hair!

Use lots of hairspray and tease it. Also scrunch it with your hands. They have curl boosting products aswell.

blow it out with a round brush, use a curling iron and lots of hairspray. look online for Farrah's style!
