I'm getting a PS3 for christmas but I still want to know how rare they are.

not as rare as the wii. i mean, people still want em'... but no, u can find em in almost any store.

the ps3 are not rare at all !!!! in fact sony said that it will sold more than 11 million ps3's by the end of 2008 which is a big deal and maybe the biggest yet !!!!!!!

since it was discontinued in october the 60 gig unit is becoming increasingly rare and much sought after as the 40 gig model is not backwards compatible for ps2 playback neither is the 20 gig model-the 80 gig ps3 is unavailiable in the UK.

Not rare at all. The Wii is the console that is impossible to find.

i saw soooo many of them at best buy the other day. theyre not rare bcuz people dont want to spend that much money on them even tho its so worth it
