FINGERNAILS REVEAL A LOT about you and your state of health. Many people are careless about their nails. They use them instead of tools, they immerse them in harsh soaps and detergents, they hit them or snag them accidentally, they overexpose them to the elements. But even people who take good care of their nails often have problems with brittle, cracked, and breaking fingernails, conditions that may be helped by diet or nutritional supplements.

Fingernails, which protect the multiple nerve endings in the fingertips, are composed of a protein called keratin. They grow at the rate of about one-eighth inch a month, which means it can take up to three months to grow a new nail. The healthy nail should be smooth, and tile nail bed underneath should be pink, indicating a healthy blood supply. A very pale or blue nail bed, or nails streaked with either white or red may be indicative of poor circulation or disease. If you're in overall good health but your nails keep breaking and splintering, try to determine the reason for their poor condition.

She is lacking B vitamins. She should start taking bee royal jelly in the raw purest form. It has the highest natural source of B5 to help grow healthy skin hair and nails. It is also very high in the other B vitamins. Tell her the best place to get the PUREST royal jelly is at www.beeroyalproducts.com. It is not cheap but one jar will last about 4-5 months and it tastes real bad. But she will notice a huge difference plus her energy levels will shy rocket.

If she don't want to spend that kind of money then have her get a good B complex with added C at any health food store (NOT WALMART!!!). This is the next best thing but because the vitamins are synthetic it will take a lot longer to start working.

Also have her take a GOOD Vitamin C from the health food store again don't go cheap! Make sure it is a higher end vitamin.

i had to go get a cyst removed and had to go to a plastic surgeon b/c of its location. I was there when this woman with half a thumb came in. Turns out that she thought she had some kind of fungus under her nails and went to the dr. to get it treated. Well it kept coming back. She finally went to a Dermatologist and found out it was cancer and that it was to late to treat it. She had to have 1/2 her thumb chopped off to keep it from spreading anymore. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY . Tell her to go to a Dermatologist so they can examine.
