Will burning off calories on treadmill help me to reduce waist as well (apart from reducing weight)?

I'm a 25 yrs guy (overweight), weighs around 174lbs . Waist is my prime concern (it's 38 inch :( ). I've recently bought a treadmill and started an exercise schedule. I take care to not take more than 1500 caloried / day and burn around 500 calories on treadmill. This way I lose around 500 + 300 (that is 1800 I require-1500 I take) = 800 calories / day.

With this, I'll able to lose around 1 pound / 4-5 days and around 3-4 kgs / month. What I want to ask is, would that help me to reduce waist also ?

yes, you will lose weight, and probably quickly. However, it sounds like you want to have a Toned midsection. While cardio and calorie restriction will provide the weight loss required, they will not be able to provide the toning of your abdominal muscles and waist size-> only ab exercises can do that. I would also focus on consuming enough protein so that your body doesn't start to catabolize muscle for energy. When you are in a calorie shortage, you'll slow down your metabolism if you start to use the protein in muscle for energy. However, if you make sure to eat 80-100g/day of prtein, you won't lose that precious fat-burning muscle.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Yes. You may want to invest in a calorie counter monitor/watch to help you realise exactly how many calories you are burning per day. To loose weight, you will need to stay at approx 1,200 calories for food intake. You need to burn 3,500 calories to loose one pound. So add, 3,500 to 1,200 and your over all calorie counter at the end of the day should read 4,700 or higher to make sure you are dropping weight correctly. Once you wear a watch you will be amazed at how fast and exactly which activities in your day will help you burn the highest amount of calories. Once you change the way you think about calories you will find it is easier to maintain those burned calories on a daily basis.

My Mum and my sister have been doing Slimming international for some months and that they the two seem incredible. They probable lost an prevalent of 2lbs each and every week each and every, which once you upload it up over the weeks is plenty. With slimming international you never pass hungry - its quite a complicated device to start with (i won't be in a position to maintain up with it!) yet now they only be attentive to what they could be eating. Its no longer approximately depriving your self of something - its approximately understanding what to eat with what. nutrients combining! i think of i've got have been provided that proper?! Its actual that eating healthily can seem greater costly than junk sort nutrients, fairly in the previous each and every thing. yet once you intend nutrients and snacks that enables as you purely purchase what you go with. possibly you ought to prepare dinner the basics of each and every meal (e.g. jacket potatoes...) and your husband might have a healthful salad on the area (as an occasion) and your & you young little ones might have something else, no longer so 'slimming'. That way you all eat togther. i'm hoping that helped slightly, i'm no longer a slimming international professional i'm afraid! sturdy success xx
