Do you prefer intelligence or common sense?

I have intelligence but i'm pass the dumbline for common sense...which is more important to you in a girl/guy? and why?

I meant BELOW the dumbline for common sense...

i prefer intelligence because if a person didnt have common sense its fun to mess with them. but then have to say common sense becasue it can be annoying when a person is smarter than you they always make you feel dumb. so im gonna have to go with a little bit of both because it can also be annyoing when a person is dumb and has no common sense what so ever. so imma say commongence aka smart but not smarter than you. ;)

I Think that Common sense and intelligence are one in the same and that you can't have on with out the other. If a person didn't have common sence, then they wouldn't be very intelligence or have the ablity to deduct reason, and if a person had only common sense where is the intelligence to back that up? Interesting Question.

when u say do you prefer... do u mean do we prefer intelligence or common sense in our selves, or what are we looking for in others?

in myself, i wish i had more common sense and less intelligence. I guess ive learned the hard way that sometimes thinking to much only brings with it restrictions and expectations.

but in others:

i prefer to hav male friends/enemies who have common sense, but arnt blessed with more intell then me. i avoid males smarter then me, unless i know i can beat em up.

as for women. I reali dun mind if she cant change a lightbulb. guess ima greedy. the dream woman ima wanna marry wil hav both intelligence and posses enough beauty to make up for the lack of common sense.

well since common sense aint common no more i would have to say intelligence cuz you can always have a meaningful conversation with him/her common sense is just common knowledge like things you "should" know just cuz either it sound right or wrong you know. but definitely intelligence

I'd say common sense. Just because you have common sense doesn't mean you're not intelligent. Intelligence is sexy as hell, but it's not so sexy if you don't have some kind of sense!

i think you need the combo of both.. to function in everyday life..

my friend is really intelligent .. but has no .. none at all on the common sense.. so sometimes. its like talking to a wall or a child.. she just doesnt realize cause she's never had the experience.. or never heard or seen it done..

I surely have trouble-free sense... yet when I had intelligene i could be RiiCH so then why could i could understand the thank you to apply the washing-device & different undertaking's that are trouble-free sense people could do each thing for me =)

As an employer, I would go for commonsense. Over and above qualifications.

For a giirlfirend, I would go for acting ability. And they had better be good!
