is it religion that causes it,,,or religion is just an excuse...
If we did some kind of a "HolyEctomy" from ppl 's mind,,,,will everybody come' together ,,
or they 'll just find another reason to hide behind and kill each other all over again

Atheism was the belief system of BOTH sides in the genocide in Cambodia's Killing Fields in the middle 1970's. 2+million dead
Atheism was the belief of Joe Stalins genocide against the Ukrainians in the 1930s. 12million dead
Atheism was the belief of Mao Tse Dong in China's Cultural Revolution. 20 million dead
These deaths all happened in the 2oth Century.
Religion or non-religion makes no difference in warfare

Water, religion, and food supply, have been the biggest reasons for war since time eternal. But now you can throw in oil too. With the worlds supply running short and headed to running out, oil will be the next big reason to kill.
And you will never take religion out of the human mix. Especially for those who are the poorest and have little hope. Or the sickest and have little hope. It is just the way of human psyche.

Religion is just an excuse. we will always divide ourselves into gangs , tribes , villages,whatever, these groups will then compete for territory ,food , mates . If you are looking for an example of how it would be without religion .Watch Meercat Manor on animal planet . They do pretty much the same things for the same reasons .

No matter how many times you try for peace on earth. Violence lives on its human nature and Natural throughout history. History is littered with violence since the beginning of time. Sorry to say this but peace isn't given centuy's to get. It take one person to dilver the messages

They would decrease to a small degree, but not enough to make a real difference. Religion is only one basis for the hate in the world, even if it is the largest.
