VERY good question, and I love you for asking it!!!
There are SOME Christians who seem to think that any Christian who shows their vulnerability to sin is a substandard person...you know, the "holier than thou" Christians...
Who seem to think that just because a Christian has certain struggles that God can't and doesn't use them...
Who seem to think that because they aren't living to the pique of perfection that God can't and doesn't use them...
Like I said in my blog
NOAH was a drunk
Jonah was rebelious
Peter cussed
Saul turned Paul was a murderer OF CHRISTIANS
David and Solomon were adulterers
Elijah suffered depression
King Saul exhibited symptoms of schizophrenia
God uses whomever He chooses and HIS perfection is made strong in OUR weaknesses.

There is no such thing as the perfect person. No one is perfect. However you may find someone that you feel is perfect for you even though they have faults you can accept.

I know of nobody who has ever been criticized for making an honest mistake . The word mistake is used whenever someone does something illegal or just plain bad , and gets caught at it .
If a person robs a store , he didn't make a mistake. - - - It was intentional . If he cheated on him wife . He didn't make a mistake . It was intentional.
Anything intentional is not a mistake .It's poor judgement .

I think you may be running with the wrong crowd. The Christian friends I have all know we are sinners ; that's why we pray to God. I have never sat up on a throne and told others I am without sin for that would be a lie. Believing and spreading the gospel are the two good things I am.

I don't believe that a "perfect" person exists necessarily, but I also don't agree with the notion that everyone is born imperfect, or a sinner. My problem is with Christians who try to preach at me regarding how I should behave, and then I find them doing the same things they say I should not do.

Christians are the only ones who continue to perpetuate the myth that they are expected to be perfect. Atheists do not say that about Christians. Most atheists, myself included, would just like for everyone to take responsibility for their actions, good or bad, instead of excusing every wrong they commit with "I'm supposed to sin".

They make themselves that way...I mean we know this but ppl especially that are clergy etc...Seem to make themselves larger then life that ppl tend to forget that they are the same as u are...born in sin and imperfect...Some not all christians look down on ppl because they know good and bad or the bible or whatever...but those are the ones that end up fallen short. Thats why ppl jump on then so hard.

Perfection in the biblical sense is not the perfect person . We are made perfected through the Blood of Christ . When the Father looks upon us and sees the blood of His Son applied nothing I repeat nothing is any more perfect that that. We may never be perfect in the eyes of man but in His eyes we are.

One man stands in the Temple and thanks God that he is not like the heathen...He demands perfection according to the doctrines of man and limits the ministry to those who qualify by conforming to the code.
Another man stays home and observes the churchgoers and rightly identifies all of their weaknesses and asks "who the hell do they think they are going to church and screwing up all week"...the bunch of hypocrites.
These two men agree...their mantra?...you have to be perfect to go to church and serve the Lord.
While they are bickering, Jesus goes to the well and finds a Samaritan whore to go into town and proclaim the Gospel.

When Christians go around telling other people they're going to hell, that their behavior is an "abomination" .. it naturally makes us look at THEM and find that, gee, you're not perfect. Seems one ought to work on one's own character before assassinating that of another. But, hey, it's easier to find fault with someone else than to look inside and see your own faults and fix them.
