Who's interested in a YA Photography community get-together ?

I for one would very much enjoy meeting all you great folks, and am willing to help organize a gathering after the first of the year...

We could make it happen, you might be surprised at how resourceful I can be, if finances are at issue. Folks schedules are another thing, but with some lead time and a little desire, I think it could work. I'm going to E- mail all of you with my "real e-mail address and we can get this thing started.
I'm so excited about this, and hope to hang out with you all, if only for a day...

That's great, just set a date and time for the chat. Need to determine if we are going to use a chat website or instant messenger.

If you start planning now, we could probably pull this off by about 2010. It would be fun, I'm sure. We would have to leave out the jerk who will undoubtedly report this question as personal communication, though. Man, this is SO far outside of "community guidelines" that it isn't funny. I don't think we are supposed to actually have any fun or develop a sense of community here. So I say, "Good on us!!!" Don't forget we have friends here from New Zealand and Australia. SOMEONE is going to have to make a heck of a trip.

That could be a GREAT event.

Sadly, a face to face meeting, as wonderful as that would be, would limit attendance because of the logistic differences, with everyone scattered across the country, not to mention our foreign contributors.

Still, a West Coast, San Francisco Bay Area meeting would be one I would be eager to attend. I can even suggest some great, photogenic venues, from the wine country down to Monterey Bay.
