Apparently it is taught as a universal truth in many job settings that nobody can live without any of these without feeling robbed, unhappy and in pain. So do you think this is true?
Which religion(s) do you think promote all of these universal truths? Please no smart alec answers. thanks.

Do you think when 1Corn13 says "Love rejoices in truth" it means what it says?
That God is not threatened when "the truth" didn't come from a preacher? He just rejoices when you got the truth!

Although I still believe Jesus is the way to salvation. But it's up to God to convince you not me.

People say they want these things because it sounds good to say you want them, and because if other people have some of these qualities (and you don't) at least you know you aren't going to get screwed over by these people because they are, for the most part, good people.

We SHOULD want EVERYONE to have these qualities. We SHOULD want OURSELVES to have these qualities, even more.

The truth is, most people don't even know what these words mean... they don't know what they entail. There are too many liars, cheaters, backstabbers, corrupt individuals... not to mention rapists, child predators, murders, etc. in our society to tell me otherwise. I think most people are corrupt in one way or another. That has been my experience, anyway.

I am not a religious person, so I am sorry but I really can't give you an answer to your last question.. However, I tend to respect the lifestyle of the Amish the most.

Many religions incorporate those qualities as does humanity in general. All religions incorporate negative qualities too as does humanity in general. I think whether one feels safe and secure with the above list depends upon the individual - some may need all of that, others not.

Edit - I think some show respect and others don't. That too is individualistic.

do a google search for peace and safety

having these qualities in a society might make that society a good place to live yet without defense someone stronger will take or can take that society out.

atheists, christains and other religious people all gather under a single flag to defend this nation so that everyone equally share those rights, privilege and values.

no one is forced to take them or honor them, we call them criminals.

I have been told by a certain atheist that I deserve NO RESPECT at all because I am a Christian. I deserve only ridicule.

There is another atheist here who thinks that NO Christian deserves any kindness, mercy, honor, etc. She wants us all exterminared. She refuses to even accept our rights to our beliefs. I can see her killing us all and seriously thinking she is going a good thing by doing so.

Christianity is SUPPOSED to promote all of those things. Sadly, it is not the case.
