Making promises to the American voters and once they win, go and serve the Companies and big interest and forget about the middle class Americans that gave them the vote. Do you know what we shall all do with these politicians..... do we... Why should we carry into our system all the illegals aliens already here when all studies show that the only one benefiting are, the illegals, the country they came from and the companies that hire them. The middle class the true Americans, lose their jobs, have to suffer with their children going into schools that do not work because of the illegal childrens..

The Roman Empire lasted approximately 1200 years, but to answer your question, yes, you are exactly right. In my opinion, English should be our official language, illegals should be deported on first offense, incarcerated in a "tent city" type of jail on the second, along with anyone employing them, no 'anchor babies', and no fence along the border, we need a minefield to take care of the problem then and there. Some say we cannot deport 12 to 20 million. Yes, we can. Perhaps not all at once, but it can be done. If we don't have the will to protect our country, like the Romans, we deserve to lose it.

Well people have been calling America the new Rome for decades now, and i can see you're making the same mistakes our Roman friends made all those hundreds of years ago, and fighting the same battles too. Rome tried to civilise the Middle East and failed, Rome brought the children of her enemies in to be educated only to have these children grow into adults and betray Rome, Rome was built on slavery as was America, Rome was initially a part of a much older empire, as was America. The Romans became complacent, and their citizens became stupid, as is America.

Our military is being privatized. This administration added to the expense of medical care with the addition of prescription drugs to medicare. This administration wants to give a path to citizenship to the illegals. This nation is LESS powerful now and on a path of nonexistence as compared to 6 -7 short years ago. Look at the big picture.
Our jobs, education, food, technology, are all in peril. Our judicial system is completely messed up and politicized. You are now looking at having your property condemned if someone wants to build a better house there that would increase revenue to the local government. Our branches of government are now suffering from an imbalance of power.
I have no idea who can fix this now but you can't blame liberals for what is happening in this country. You can blame this standing administration who uses an endless war for stripping you and all of us of what we thought could never happen here except from an outside source. You are supposed to be too scared to notice what is going on. Call it Rome, call it something else, it isn't who we are anymore.
