She (the MD) treats him very differently and gives him special treatment which I think it's really unfair. Other staff feel the same way but we're not sure what to do about it, any ideas.

Thanks all, I'm certainly jealous of the treatment but not of the sex. If they are sleeping together that wouldn't bother me one bit but I gat really angry that he get's preferential treatment. Once again thanks, I'm going down the new job route I think no point sitting around moaning and I can't see it changing.

Get a new job or ignore it. Don't get into office politics and try to do "the right thing"--just find a new job.

Well if she is the MD it is her company and therefore there seems little you can do about it .
However she has an obligation to treat all her staff consistently and fairly . If you have a specific issue where you have not been treated fairly then broach the subject with her , but you are in a difficult position .
If you are all sure of your facts about this other guy and his preferential treatment , then you could ask for a meeting with all of you to express this as a grievance . But obviously you ALL need to be involved.

put a video camera in you bedroom and tape yourself sleeping over several nights then bring it to your doctor or go to a sleep clinic for observation and maybe they can help you. I know with me I was never that bad but when I was a kid I would move to different houses all the time and I would sleep walk for the first month or two until I was use to things then it stopped until I would moved into another place. If something is really bothering me badly I have nights I sleep rough but when i resolve the issue then I feel better and I sleep better. Have you had a resent trauma or something really bothering you or did you just move or something? I don't know. I'd get it checked out so then you'll know if you'd be the one someday sleep walking down the street in your underwear stealing milk from the gas station.

So, get another job. It sounds as though you have a touch of the green eye. Really its nothing to do with you. Just get on with your jobs or leave.
