John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

TODAY JESUS IS STILL CRYING FOR US TO COME AND DRINK.

Mancloud: I hear Him crying out to me when I find my ownself lacking.I also find this same cry coming out of me when I see others suffering because they to are lacking. This cry is in many Christians today, and it comes from within them, because that is where the Holy Ghost dwells.I give you a thumbs up for your question.

guyster: Sin is the fountain that produces these things that you speak of here.Forgiveness is the foundation that will heal all of these things that you speak of.(James 5:14-15).Jesus can provide you with that foundation if you want Him to.

saveitok: I appreciate your honesty. Many today say that they have read the Bible through and through. Now I to will be honest with you my neigbor.I experianced the same as you when I tried to read the Bible without a right relationship with God.Look at what the Eunuch tells Phillip when asked if he understood what he read in Acts 8:26-31.All you need is a little help. The love that you talked about will see you through, and you will be blessed.

many people don't exactly understands what that means. they will ask and pray for things that shouldn't be asked or prayed for and when things don't go their way they loose hope and no longer ask. but if they were to ask reasonable things and humble them selves they would find out how much he has to offer

I think we are satisfied with it because people out of ignorance do not know what God has truly given those who believe that Jesus came to save us all. The Bible says Jesus came to give us "abundant life". The answers are written in the very Word of God. Read the Bible....if you don't understand it...then ask God for wisdom ( Jame 1 verse 5), and he gives it freely. The WORD is an awesome thing, and it is life's manual....

John of the Cross said it well: You will obtain from God exactly that which you expect from Him. And he wasn't talking "prosperity gospel" nonsense. Money gets spent or stolen; spiritual gifts and God's love and power don't. Some people have self-image problems or mistaken ideas about God which make them think they aren't going to get anything more from God than what they have. But if you ask, you recieve, especially if you are already in a family-relationship with Jesus. You may not recieve exactly what you asked for, but you will recieve what is best for you.

Too many people leave it to their pastor or church leaders to feed and water them instead of coming to Jesus themselves and getting fed firsthand. Read the Bible yourself, dig into it, to see what it says and how it says it. Pray to God in your own words, from the heart, not just forms and other people's words. Find out what God wants to give *you* personally. Church is good, but we must each have our own knowledge of God.

I am so very satisfied with the Lord has given me. I'm rich in Jesus Christ, He is always there for me and my family, This may seem small to some people and I really don't care, a few days ago I was playing out side in the snow with my children, and as we were throwing snow at each other the zipper of my coat split in two, and I couldn't get it unstuck. so I took it off when we went inside, the next day I had to walk my daughter to school and it was snowing and my 5 year old daughter said but Mommy your coat is broke so I said let us pray and ask Jesus to help me get this coat fixed, so we bowed our heads and we said Jesus please help mommies fix her coat it is the only coat she has and we don't have money to buy her another one, and you know what that zipper unstuck like it was never broke, and the Lord has blessed me with a new coat, Praise God he always knows our needs. and I could say he has answered my prayers and my children's prayers all the time...Thank Jesus Christ for being my family's provider and for just being you....I love you my Abba....

I am a Christian and I believe in God. But you know what, I am still a human. I have human needs and human weaknesses. That's the way God made us. Even Christians have human feelings, human greed, human wants, desires, hunger, sickness, etc, etc. There are a million questions that we will never know the answers to in this life. I love the Bible but I don't think you can take everything literally. I believe in evolution also. I think evolution and the Bible can coexist and that science and religion can to. I believe in Intelligent Design. I can't believe anyone can actually believe there is no power behind this beautiful Universe we live in!

Hi there, here we go.

God says in His Word- "My People Perish From a Lack of Knowledge" (Hos. 4:6)

The largest draw back in many Christian's lives is the lack of knowledge and lack of faith.

All God's promises are there for Christians to take for themselves, but like I said, lack or ignorance of the promises can cause them to live in poverty physically and spiritually.

If a person lives with a poverty mentality and have no knowledge of the promisses of God, such a person will continue to live like a poor person instead of living as God intended us to do. Jesus said: "I have come that you may have life and life more abundantly"

The choice is ours, are we going to embrace the Words of God, act on them in faith and partake of the living waters that Jesus had promised when He said "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink" John 7:37.

Thanks for this questions.
Take Care

Good question,
I am never satisfied when it comes to God. I am constantly praying to God to let me have more of Him, grow more in Him, Love more like Him, Live like Him, speak like Him, to become a good and faithful servant, an honorable daughter to my Father. I think as humans we are spoiled, we like to have things just handed to us on a silver platter, never having to ask for it, or work for it, long for it, live righteous for it, be holy for it, or make sacrifices for it!! We just want it, and if we don't get it, oh well. We no longer as a nation recognize our true source of supply, Our heavenly Father! Take a look around, you see it...look even on Y!A, when you ask a question about our God, and his son Jesus Christ, watch how many people answer (they are usually the first too), just to tell you HE is not real, that he does not exist, that he does not supply our every need. People actually think they made 'it' on their own! they actually think everything they have, they have by their own hand!! wow!! i can't live like that, I can't live without HOPE in my mighty God, to know that when I fail, there is my God to work it out for my good. Hallalujah!! My brother, i WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED WITH SO LITTLE!!!!!

It's something we learned from greedy Christendom...the more you've got, the more God loves you... isn't that what Tammy and Jimmy Bakker taught from their electronic ministry????
Look at the churches, and hypocritical preachers everywhere...driving fancy cars, dressed to the 9's, fornicating like there's no tomorrow... ornate golden alters and golden statues everywhere... and pockets stuffed with donated cash... doesn't God bless those who give???? He really blesses the ones who receive.... lol
Television has played a tremendous role in fostering greedy people, as have magazines and many so called role models... I'm surprised you have to ask a question like this, when the answers are glaring you in your face everyday!

I think that people have to time for God. They r very very busy all the day.

I have much time for God. I pray , read the Bible. He sometimes answers me very clearly. He sometimes puts me in difficulties , like the one iam in now, just to teach me something. Soon, i will share u all with my testimony , just when God delivers me.
