its a puppy prone to whine or cry when he/she is alone, scared or bored. give toys to play with, lavish him/her with love and when you need a time out from your puppy try putting a radio where your pup can listen to it and let the radio keep your puppy company. hang in there it's only a phase

It's Chihuahua! If she is a month and a half old, that makes her six weeks old. That is way too early, for a Chihuahua to be taken away from it's mom and it's siblings. Who, in their right mind, sold you this puppy at 6 weeks old? That's a really irresponsible breeder! Because Chihuahuas are so small, they need to stay with their mom, until they are at least 12 weeks old. This is the time when the mother teaches them important things, that will make them a happier and healthier puppy, with a much better temperament. This poor puppy was probably still nursing some from it's mom, when it was taken away from her. Is she even weaned yet? You really need to do the best , most responsible thing for her, and return the poor thing to it's mom, for at least 6 more weeks. She is probably scared to death, and she definitely misses and wants her mom and siblings. If you feel, that she drives you crazy that easily, maybe you aren't ready for a dog yet. Puppies require a lot of patience, time, training and love! If you can't provide that, then you are not ready for the responsibility and privilege of owning a dog, especially a Chihuahua! PLEASE, for the sake of her health, and welfare, return her to her mom, immediately! She's far from ready to be adopted out yet. Give her a chance at a good, healthy life!!!

First it should not ahve been removed fromteh mom and siblings so young.
This is just a baby and it will need to be trained to be quiet.
You can try a heating pad and an alorm clock( sounds like the mothers heartbeat) also get a nice stuffed animal it can snuggle with.
this takes time and patience and not just with a chihuahua mix but with alomost all new pups that have been removed from mom and brothers and sisters especially so young.
At 6 weeks old it should be seeing a vet for it's first vaccine and to be wormed. You can talk to them about some other ideas of training the pup.
chihuahaus are a people dog and want to be with you at all times but tehy can be trained.

You cant just complain about your puppy barking. Do you have another dog to keep her busy? I just got a new Border Collie puppy last Sunday, and she is VERY vocal.

I play games with her, walk her, and allow her to play with the other dogs. Just stitting down with a puppy and allowing it to clam down by petting it helps too.

She also might need to go outside. She could need food or water.

Shes a baby, and shes bored, shes used to being with her mommy and siblings, she needs attention, however at bedtime you might try to get her a stuffed toy to snuggle with.
something that she would feel comfortable with and help her to adjust to being away from her mom and siblings, also maybe something that makes noise like a windup clock. good luck

Your local human society may have tips on their website or host classes for owners and their dogs. This has helped me a lot with my bad cat.

She wants attention, give her some love. Then take her to the pet store and find some toys that she like that will help her to occupy herself while you sleep.

Call your vet or humane society and ask them Why you have a dog???? and what to do with it....they have classes on how to take care of a dog...New doggies are like new babies..It takes time for them to settle down....

She's bored. Play with her and take her for a walk! Don't expect her to entertain herself.
