5 select UK and tick the box
6. click the arrow for drop down menu and left click UK

go to the start menu (bottom left) and choose control panel, then double click regional settings then change all the settings to that of your region. what you have done is simply overlooked the settings while you install windows. probably done because you're in a hurry to get your computer back up and running

They've probably gone back to USA settings. Go, Start, Control Panel, Regional Settings and reset to UK.

Bottom ight hand side of screen, where the little arrow is - click to the left of it and set language to English United Kingdom.

Its to do with the keyboard setting (you are probably set to American). I can't quite remember how you change it, but until then you will just have to insert symbols, copy and paste.

go into your control panel and look at your keyboard options, if your using a UK keyboard then change your settings to UK layout.

there is a fault in ur key prints.
even my keyboards have this problem. but i have been using it for a long time, so i have an idea of the keys'!
