Their partnership with Konica didn't save them. They came late to the digital imaging party and never caught up.

As a Minolta user since 1971 their passing was a sad day. I'll continue to use the Minolta 35mm cameras I love until film is no longer available - which I believe will be a long time. I'm now a collector of Minolta memorabilia.
