Please! We are not all politicians!

While it is true many have only a superficial religious belief, there are some who deeply believe in their faith. They accept as a general rule of life to be kind to others and donate to people in need. Politicians not withstanding.

It must be pointed out European churches, especially RCC, pioneered the do unto others first. Their racket was to sell "indulgences", a piece of paper forgiving a rich man for any type of sin (theft, murder, slaughter, pillaging) on the pretense it was from God. Of course, only the rich could afford such things and if the poor could have taken a break from trying to survive, they would have no doubt laughed at those rich for believing that rubbish.

Indeed, endless err and forgiveness is childish.
Hence the exhortation: "be no more children".

Charity is above forgiving one another,
since charity never fails thinketh no evil.
Anything less than never fail is fail-u-are.
Hence the exhoration: "be ye perfect",
which is "also merciful" in Luke 6:36.

Grace --> Mercy --> Peace with you all. Amen.

Seems like that sometimes but I think it's more of a way of controlling the less intelligent. I seriously doubt that evangelists actually believe the crap they're trying to teach...
