Because love costs more than sex. That and you're looking for quality. Your average everyday hooker is usually a single mom of a few, she has a few natural births under her belt, may be on some form of drug she needs in her system before she decides this profession is a good idea, and might probably give you crabs... or the clap. She charges $20.
Your girlfriend on the other hand, is usually a single not-a-mom, doesn't have to get high before she can stand being around you, generally more attractive and is much less likely to give you an STD or some other creepy crawly. She costs a few dates, dinner, movies, maybe even a piece of jewelry. Which, yes, is a few hundred dollars and much more than the hooker on the corner. But she also loves you and (usually) doesn't share herself with anyone else. If she's paid well enough she'll be faithful forever.

Because you are getting so much more: a cook, a housekeeper, a devoted companion, a lover, a friend, someone to confide in, someone to debate current issues and trends with, someone to play games with, someone to travel with--- you are getting a bundle of joy with the women who does not collect up front! And if you are good at selecting the right one, you may actually profit from her with her ability to work with you to buy a home that increases in value and other investments not to mention if she earns more than you. Kinda like a sex-plus package, you pay a specific bargain price that may or may not cause diseases and potential exposure if pregnancy becomes and issue and you are actually worth something versus getting the entire package when you are will to invest over a long time.

You are so right about that! I have a link in an old e-mail to an article which address this subject. I'll try to find it and send it to you later.
Have you paid for sex? Or did you choose the long term payment plan?

If you did pay for sex it would cost more if you kept doing it. Think long term. Why do people have nothing better to do than post ridiculous question. Why dont you go rake your leaves or something.

There is no free sex in this town. Even the one who is called Miss Charity, for one night stand ,it cause $$ for claps,or HIV ,or sport sex with Miss Slu*tty it will cost your sanity by bothering you all the time she thinks she own you., worse yet if you knock her ,it will cost you $$$$$ for 18 years. Better get married and have sex everynight, you can even have a quicky on football commercial.

In a committed relationship, the is a constantly changing percentage of effort from each person. The relationship is rarely a fifty-fifty situation. Intimate interactions are very delicate even in an established relationship.

If you are looking to "save money", then just pay for sex....
If you are looking for a relationship, either serious or not, be ready to spend a lot more.
As always you get what you pay for..!!
Paid sex will never be as intimate, as true or as good as sex you get from a relationship ....!
Which one are you looking for?

Uhm, i guess if you're not paying for sex it implies you're with a girl. And if you're with a girl you may have to pay for things such as her cinema ticket, meal, bus fare, presents, etc. So that could add up :/ But, hm, odd question. Odd way to think about relationships.

if you're getting into long term relationships and quantify them only as a relationship between the amount of money you spend and the amount of sex you get, you're never going to be happy with anything other than prostitution.
