Why stop at shoes? Get a new purse and some other accessories to go with them. It's the Christmas season, go for broke.
EDIT: Of course you need a new coat! Along with a fabulous dress, cut and color, manicure, pedicure, and full spa treatment! Enjoy.

Alway try to take the moral high ground. If you need a new pair of shoes, buy them, otherwise, I don't think any reaction is necessary, other than meditation to clear away the negative energy she directed your way.
Edit: Be careful how you word your answers in the future. Also if you changed your answer from a worse one, meditate on being more civil to others, so that you don't get such a reaction.
