This question reminds me of when, some thirty-six years ago, one of my students gave me a book on Sant Mat, or Path of the Saints, and in it were the symbols that awakened answers to my questions from within my own Apapsyche.

Eternal is an Absolute, in that it is permanent, it does not change, and it cannot be other than it is. Of course it is beyond time and space, and it also implies no end, and thus no beginning.

To imagine the concept of "eternal" is, I believe, difficult if not impossible for us to imagine because we cannot really embrace the concept "nothing". And the Spiritual realm would seem to someone not as yet familiar with Astral travel, as nothing... or the absence of anything familiar to ones brain and physical senses.

Vibrational reality for us exists within a certain range of perception limited to our physical senses. But as one is capable of raising the Attn Aspect of ones Apapsyche out of the physical realm and into the Astral realm, one becomes familiar with vibrational realities that cannot be described in the words our brains can experientially comprehend. There are Worlds and still finer worlds existing "within" us. "Within" refers to accessing finer vibrational realms of reality via a doorway centered in ones forehead, known in the East as the Tisra Til. This doorway can be and has been entered by yogis and great mystics, but even they are blocked from entering the Pure Spiritual regions. Entrance to the Pure Spiritual regions is confined to those who have been initiated by God in human form.

Peace

Eternal does not mean without a beginning. It does mean, once here, having no ending.

Jehovah and His universe(s) would be the only things Angels were created with unlimited lifespans For those who went with Satan, there will be an ending of their lives at the proper time

Man was created to also be eternal with no death in view. However, not only do we not have that now but, we are not the same people we were seven years ago. This is because science tells us every cell in our bodies is replaced by every seventh year continually.

I believe that God is eternal, and that the universe in some form or another is also. I don't think science has all the answers, but they will develop better theories in the future regarding the universe. Individual human spirits can last an awful long time, but how long I am not sure of, but it can seem like an eternity, and might possibly be.

Dear All

Following is the explanation of Eternal from Holy Quran:

2:255. Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

57:3. He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things.

3:2. Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal.

May God Almighty Parmatma Allah Guide all of us towards the Right Path towards Salvation Amen.

eternal has two meanings
1 never beginning and never ending
2 never ending
God is the first meaning of eternal and i think that after we die we are more under the second form of eternal!
i am NOT an expert though! this is just what i think!

Eternal means what is permanent, never-changing and stays forever - from space and time perspective (Nitya, Kuthast and Satya).

Because of above qualities, it automatically implies that it is omnipresent, omniscient, without beginning (Anadi) and with no end (Ananta), without attributes (Nirguna - beyond three Gunas Sattav, Rajjas and Tammas), Controller, Owner and Most Powerful.

My dear Anil,

Really your questions fascinate me.Some times you ask as if to test or tease ( I feel that way ) , though you know the answer.
Your varied question really make us also work hard mentally.Thank you.

Eternal .,it means literally '' 1.Lasting or existing forever.
2. Valid for all times , like eternal truths.''

So you can say that which on TIME has no effect whatsoever , and unchanged under any circumstances in any time ( Past.Present and Future) is the one that is ETERNAL.

God is supposed to have these quality and similarly soul.Beginning-less and end-less HE exists.

THAT IS WHAT I FEEL.
