Allergy is one of the diseases which can be CONTROLLED with medicine BUT CAN'T BE CURED by any medicine/operation. Try to find the causative factor & try to avoid it-but it is very difficult. Otherwise take antiallergic tablet / nasal spray -but only after consulting your E.N.T. doctor.

There is no cure for allergic rhinitis. Allergc rhinitis is hypersensitivity reaction to some allergen (mold, animal dander, pollen etc) As a sufferer, I take antihistamines (zyrtec) and use cortisone nasal spray (rhinocort) when necessary. It is best to avoid the allergens if at all possible, but sometimes that isn't feasible.

I've suffered from allergic rhinitis my entire life & I've tried everything known to man.
The only thing that works for me is using both Allegra & Nasacort AQ together every day. I have a HUGE tolerance to allgery medication too, and with these two at the same time, I can breathe & live a normal life, LOL

Beconase AQ or Nasonex really help. However, these are not a cure. They just make the symptoms go away. For a cure, you need to go to an allergist and get allergy desensitation shots. They will take several years, but they are the only cure I know of.

The Closest to a " Cure " is Allergy ImmunoTherapy
75% for Seasonal and 65% for Perennial..
Actually rather GREAT Odds for Medical Therapies.

There is no "cure" but there are anti-allergy meds or shots.
See your doc for a good nasal spray, some work better than others.

Hi there,
ideally I am against prescribing medicines in this column , for the simple reason that some people will be allergic to some of the medications. right ?
in your case, try to avoid the "allergen" responsible for the rhinitis...maybe if a mask can help you , wear it where you could be susceptible / exposed to the allergen.
Regarding medication, I would suggest you to consult your ENT surgeon who would prescribe you the best..okay ?
best wishes !

First, you need to go and have some allergy tests to determine exactly what is causing it. The doctor will then prepare shots for that particular allergy.
