They found blood in the urine and are putting him on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Is it a good thing that no crystals were found? Does that mean I caught it early on? Thanks for any help.

Yes, it is a good sign. For one thing, those crystals won't be there tearing up the insides of your cat's urethra when he tries to pee.

no crystals means there is no obstruction to the urinary tract -which is good. i dont know about the catching it early part coz there is always a possibility he/she has passed stones out sometime ago. but i think as long it takes its antibiotics obediently it should be fine : )
