I love China, but not blindly. There are things that I dislike, but overall, I think it is an amazing country, geographically, culturally, socially very diverse and contrasting. I've traveled there numerous times since the early 1980s and cannot get tired of the place. In all my travels i have met only nice and friendly people who treated me with respect, and I have made life-long friends that I long to see again on my next journey. If I could, I would move there in a moment's notice. My favourite spots: Dalian, Xiamen, Kunming. But there are so many more places to see and people to meet who will become new friends! It is the only country that I visited more than once, and I've traveled all over the continents. I find myself planning my next return to China as soon as I am on the plane leaving it.

I sometimes worry about China because I love the Chinese people. Then again, this is an ancient culture you're talking about; a country which has been invaded many times but never conquered. The Chinese culture always prevail - infact those who have invaded China were assimilated - that's how powerful and pervasive Chinese culture is. I know China will be a Great Country because I know the Chinese people (and history) too well. Sometimes I worry unnecessarily.

I have found China to be a very great culture i have studied it allot and it is mixed of many different types of culture. I would like to go there sometime. There are many stereotypes but I have met allot of great Chinese people. They are very welcoming and united. Their food is very good and have a very unique style of cooking. Despite the communism it is still a very open country for foreigners. There are allot of unique places to visit their and their history is full of great things. They invented allot of important stuff. War with them is probably a mistake that we have to prevent because they are very important to the US economy. These are the bad parts: The labor in allot of places in China is very bad. Big company's like Nike and other companies pay them very low wages. The communism their could be bad in some parts. The government wants to take Tibet and take away some of their culture because they think it should be part of China. Some rural places in China are bad conditions. It is home to the worlds most polluted city. It is heavily populated. And a couple other stuff.
But I think it is very interesting.
Hope that helps.

A very interesting place, not to be found anywhere else. Certainly an interesting read if you are considering what you can learn. More so if you travel there. I do not know anyone who has been disappointed by it. Travel in the cooler months if you don't like hot humid temps.
