This quote is in the Bible "He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death". If this is the word of God then I say yes. Do you believers not take the word of God as perfect? I f so, then the Bible is the word of God and it also must be perfect. Now I know many are trying to ban homosexuality based on Bible quotes, so why should Christians be able to pick and choose what quotes they want to enforce. If God chooses when we are born and die, then those murderers are just following Gods plan and it's not really their fault. They had no free will. The same goes for abortions, why are Christians so against them when it is God choosing the time of the babies deaths? But then also one of the Ten Commandments is thou shall not murder. Seems contradictory to me. How can the perfect words of God be contradictory though? Hmmm I wonder....

Ok, but if God has already planned the exact time of death, the mothers choice to abort the baby is really just the way God decided to do kill it. There is alos no way of knowing if a murderer decided not to kill someone, if they would still die at that exact moment because God had already planned their death. So the naswer must be that God had planned their death be the murder, and hence the murderer had no free will to choose or not.

the bible says thou shalt not kill, but we kill millions of animals without even thinking of god - if he exists he considers animals his creatures too, even though we might not kill directly, according to his laws we are all properly damned...

IM a catholic and heres what i say.BTW are u a theologist just askin

1.homosexuality is banned because the people who are in it cannot make who they are because maybe they are born like that but there is an argue that they also can not commit homosex and can refrain from it.so it is a sin to commit sex with the same sex but not really a sin to be one
2.Murderers are not helping god planning the deaths of people they just killl maybe cos of affection or hatred or whatever reason you can use god to kill only he himself can.
3.god did not plan for the timing of people to kill babies by abortion it is a mother's choice as they could have thinked twice befor killin the child if she still wants to kill it then pray for her that she mgiht not go hell and ask her to confess.because GOd will come on judgement day to judge all these people and not now so i hope that answers ur question

Um.. to understand what you are reading..you actually have to find your way into belief in God. otherwise..you are not going to "get it" until the last day.

There is no free will. We are children before God. We are supposed to be learning right from wrong with every breath we take. We are supposed to know and live the ten commands even though God knows we all sin. It takes time to grow up, kapish? What we take from here..this place .. is what we learned of our own weaknesses.. or the weaknesses of others... and we are supposed to learn that betrayal is truly evil and is not allowed into eternity.

Everyone has a free will. You choose if you will be a murderer. Whether it is murdering a baby or an adult. If you choose not to kill someone and it is there time to go, they will go by some other means.

That depends: is that from the Old Testament or the New Testament?

And...the bible being contradictory is a conclusion that has been made several times.

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage

You are taking liberties with your interpretation of the bible. Murder is a horrific sin abd cannot be justified. Go tear apart another religion, please.
