As long as you feel that you really love her, why not? Actually I think most people (except those who would lie to get sex or diamonds or whatever) mean it when they say they love someone. The problem is that everyone's definition of love is different... To someone, "I love you" means I will do anything in the world for you, for someone else it could mean gee, I feel the same towards you as I do my pet dog which I lovingly feed and walk everyday, so that must mean I love you! But the pet dog requires just 1h of his time everyday and the girl needs more.
