Ok well I am 17 years old and I have had One reckless driving that occured in the end of november 2006 but the court decision was in march. I took a plea deal my lawyer got for a fine no actual court hearing and the conviction was withheld adjudication. in the end of october i got a speeding ticket for 71 in a 45 and i went to driving school for that. Now last night i recieved another reckless driving that stated 80 in a 45 imp. lane changes. I was going 80 prolly but i was not doing improper lane changes. my friends and i passed a ford taurus and slowed down obviously but thought since he wasnt doing anything and we were doing 60 it was ok so then we kept going and 5 miles later after we hadturned onto a different road and the cop had stopped trailing us then we are going the speed limit in moderate traffic when sirens go off 10 cars back and 4 cars proceed to pull me over. so i guess he called ahead. Note: I have a nicer car (BMW 3 series) and althoguh my friend was in a BMW 7series

he did not get pulled over. I had one passenger and we both cooperated with the police who were very insistant that we had drugs on us although neither of us have never done that. I gave permission to search my car as i knew i had nothing to hide. Cops made alot of smart *** comment about my nice car and how i dont deserve it and all that and gave me the citation with a mandatory court date. what is most likely gonna happen / how should i handle it (i know to get a lawyer i got the best one in town already (guy got someone off 5 DUI's in a row) )

improper lane change hm sounds like not signaling when changing in another lane. i don't really see anything wrong there unless u passed in with double solid lines.

added:
maybe phone a lawyer and tell them the situation and ask for advice

You could always try obeying traffic laws. Then you wouldn't have to worry about hiring your daddy's lawyer. You probably weren't signaling far enough ahead of lane changes.

Seriously, obey traffic laws. I'm ten years older than you, and you've now have three more traffic offenses than I.

Just because an officer of the law does not pull you over immediately doesn't mean you're not doing anything illegal.

And I would personally love to punch your lawyer in the face for defending drunk drivers.

You deserve to lose your DL and I hope you do, because you are either going to kill someone or yourself when you smash daddy's car. This will be rough on you because you more than likely have never suffered any consequences for you actions, Of course it sound like daddy will try and come to the rescue by hiring an Atty for you, but what he really should do is take you behind the woodshed, which is something he should have done long ago

The best attorney ever, huh? I hope none of his loved ones get killed by a drunken or wreckless driver and then another great attorney gets that person off. I'll bet he will change his toon then. However, it's still up to the JUDGE. Some times though certain judges/attornies do favors for each other.

I know this is going to sound like a smart A*S, but you really need to slow down and just get your lawyer and go on to court and take your medicine. I used to drive like that and it never got me anything but a bunch of tickets and cost me a bunch of money. Slow down and the life you save may be your own.
