One of the fundamental beliefs of Muslims is that on the Day of Resurrection all the dead would be raised. And on the Day of Judgement(the same as before) all will be questioned as regards their actions on earth and accordingly the good would be sent heaven where they will enjoy eternal life.On the other hand those who preferred to enjoy the pleasures of the life on earth and failed to submit to the will of God, will be thrown into the hell for ever!

The bible teaches us that

When we die, believers go straight to the Lord.
II Corinthians 5:6-8

Others, are like the rich man in the story of Lazarus, they are on the other side of the gulf that they cannot cross, but can see those with the Lord.
Luke 16:20-31

These are waiting until after the millenium for the final judgement of God the Father.

No, there will not be any judgement after death. During life time ones good deeds are judged against bad deeds and accordingly ones next birth is determined by the almighty.

yes it is the judgement day after the soul leaves the body. The future birth of the soul will be decided based on the good or bad deeds committed while alive. Good deeds will be rewarded and the bad deeds will be punished.

After you die, you are put in the ground. At the time of judgement you will rise from the grave and stand before God, Jesus, and the deciples and be judged. You then will either be allowed into Heaven or cast into the eternal flames of Hell. Read the Bible. It tells all.

Hi-

I am sorry, i have a bit different thinking, its like this we are in a cycle of Birth and Death and according to Lord Mahavira a soul has to be in this cycle for exactly 1 lakh 84 thousand times, so in this we have come from many facets like

1. We were germs in air when someone breath in and we got died, then we didnt had enough powers to fight back( we call that as badar jeeva)

2. We were leaves on trees that due to one air we fell off and died

3. We were animals and others even

So, the whole theory says that the judgement is not someone who would come and judge it, its beneath you, how much justice have you done, and whats the limit of your soul, as ultimately all have to attain moksha and more and more we are attached to karmas we are just wondering arround by this cycle of birth and death, sometimes from human to animal and from animal to leaves and from leaves to just a minute ant which lives only for few seconds, its completely dependent on only and only one THEORY CALLED KARMA.

So There is no HELL or No HEAVEN, everything is just the nature of our soul which would have to face it, if we did bad karma we would face bad and if did Good Karma then we face Good things, like many people you might have observed that they got lucky in time, or unlucky in time thats nothing but karma.

I am sorry if i have hurted anyone its just my feeling and i had to share with you guys.

According to the beliefs that we have been brought up with, there certainly is a judegement day after death. It is generally said so to save one from doing the wrong. like they say "Whatever wrong you do in your lifetime, You have to payback on the judgement day".

Yes, indeed there is. let me give you an example, if a man murders another on this earth. The ultimate punishment the judge can give him is death penalty. But that is only once. All right, What about Hitler he killed around 6 million Jews. If you give him death penalty-is it justified? we can kill him only once. But god keeps the power to kill and bring him back to life even 600000000000000 times.
Hope this helps.

Judgment will come with the return of Jesus and we will see the judgment of the living and the dead. Not before and we have to rest in peace until then . The state of the dead is that there resting until Jesus returns not up in heaven or in some half way place trying to get to heaven you are alive then you die and wait just like we are waiting for his return so we who are alive have work to do until that day. once you are dead you are resting and after Jesus kicks satins but and judgment starts Jesus we be our lawyer and he will say weather or not you know him or not. so get to know him while you are alive because if he asks yo did any one ever tell you about me and you say yes and did not really know him your rewords will be less and or your cast out into utter darkness. Read it in Revelation you will find your redemption

Yup! Make your plans ahead of time because when you get there you will not be able to change your mind!

Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11: For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
