Well, there's no significant difference from the way kittens and puppies are born, except that there's usually only one at a time. But for real, babies are sufficiently special that if there were such a thing as God, that's the sort of evidence I'd use.

On the other hand, that would be an even stronger argument for a Goddess, wouldn't it?

It's a chemical thing. When sperm is mixed with an egg, it produces a child. It's the same thing when you leave bread out on a counter, mold is born. Mixing air and bread and producing mold is no more of a gift from god than mixing sperm and an egg. If two people got married and loved each other and wanted a child and DIDN'T mix sperm with an egg and all of a sudden out of LOVE for each other, POOF, the woman was pregnant I would say it was a gift from god but that ain't the way it works fool.

Sure there are:

Storks,

Or

When a guy and woman get h0rny, they have sex, and sometimes the guys sperm goes and fertilizes the woman's egg. Nine months later than have a bouncing little bundle of joy (or crap, if we're talking about the diapers)

It's not a theory, we've seen it happen....there's no "god" in this...

Go visit a maternity ward any time of the night & day & you may get some idea. Or you could try learning about sex between a fertile man & fertile woman then you might have an even better idea. Better still experience love & sex itself & you'll understand the meaning to procreation. Best of luck to you.

WHOA. That is so trippy man. The world is an illusion. Babies are merely pieces of a bigger puzzle. A never ending puzzle of confusion and lies. Babies are not born... They do not exsist. They are a figment our your imagination. As well as your family and everything around you as you know it. Life is an elaborate dream. But whos dream is it? That is the question....

Babies come from a male and female having intercourse at a period when the female is in her fertile period.
There you are,....60 year olds are pretty forgetful people.

Well, many come from Catholic hospitals, I'm sure. There is a theory, though, that they come in a basket, so I assume that it is the Easter Bunny then.

They come from the depths of evil vessels (often called women), and then those babies become deified by those poor souls (mothers) because they have nothing else they will ever care about. If necessary, they will destroy lives and make the entire world suffer for them until both die.

Ignoring the rude and corny answers you left yourself wide open to, yes it is truly a question of souls. Where does awareness come from?
