on south park the children went to "The Death Camp of Tolerance" because there parents thought they were intolerant of gays. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Death_Camp_of_Tolerance
so maybe we should do that with all religious people that are intolerant of different ideas of god or that dont believe in god?
oh and in case this gets thrown back at athiests, or at me anyway, Im fine with what ever you believe in, i just cant stand orginized religion because no matter how nice "they" are supposed to be, they are all pretty much pitted against each other, thats why i asked the question.

holylamb, you are seriously brain washed, i think big killings of religious people would be in this thing called the news, especially so because all they care for are ratings and killing gets ratings in tv. and im not intolerant, cause i were, i would hate all religions for no reason besides god, but i dont, i dont like religion as a whole because as i said, they all fight with each other in some form because of stupid views. i say believe if you want, dont hate on others for how they believe. so go away and learn something.

GodShew: so in summing up what u just said, those who wrote the bible did not want anyone who follow it to tolerate anything but their religion or they will suffer gods wrath/go to hell. yeeeeeah, well ill put that under terrorism to prevoke fear to get followers more brainwashed and to try and get others to believe. i think you need to go to tolerance camp.

That idea has merit, I do see a great deal more intolerance from religious people than from Atheists.

I didn't see that episode, but I read the Wiki article you posted.
I think it would be great if there really was a "Tolerance Camp," not a joke but a real one. Perhaps a summer camp run by the Ethical Society or Unitarian Universalists? They are both very big on tolerance.

'Tolerance' is not found anywhere in the Bible. Many deceived by many think it is akin to temperance (self-control) and patience (steadfastness) in 1Peter 1:6. But it is more akin to compromise, which is not Godly.
Tolerance is as Compromise. But when looking closer at what's said in the Bible, we find His Grace does NOT compromise with law at all; But rather the operation of God removes all law written in stone and ink, since it is a ministration of condemantion & death, to all, not some only.
Neither does God compromise on the sacrifice(slaughter) issue, saying: "I will have mercy, and not sacfricie", which is notably the same in both OT and NT. To those who err, it is told: go ye and learn what it "meaneth": Matthew 9:13. For God says what he means and means what he says.
What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? Obviously none. For they are "contrary things" going in contrary directions: death<--law & lie | grace & truth-->life.
Tolerance would mix extinction <-- and --> salvation; But we are told "a little leaven leaventh the whole", and even a little law added to "grace is sufficient" (no law req'd) makes it "no more grace"; And thereby Christ is of no effect to you: Gal 5:4, whosoever of you are justified by the law.
JC did not tolerate those making the temple a den of thieves. He made a whip and drove them out of the temple. Selah.
Adults still being childish(legalistic) is not tolerated by God; For we are flat out told it is plainly evident from all the evidence that no "man"(adult) is justified by the law in the sight of God.
Grace --> Mercy --> Peace with you all. Amen.

Actually, you have proven to be very intolerant yourself. Is your intolerance and prejudice against "the religious" any different than that which you profess to hate?
Actually, there are already many "Tolerance Camps" running today in many areas that are bastions of freedom, like China, Vietnam, Sudan, Iran.... Did you know that more people die today because of their faith than at any other time in the history of mankind?
More people die today just because they profess Jesus than have ever died in our history. And many of those doing the killing are athiests. You tolerant, peace loving athiests have killed millions, just in this century.

If the intolerance has to do with intentional physical behavior that does or intends to do others eventual physical harm, then that camp might help.
I invite intolerance of physical, mental, emotional and or spiritual terror inspired beliefs that allow for scrutiny and killing either instantaneously or over time are concerned.
I invite intolerance of eternal damnation worship and undefined "Higher Power" worship that allows for heiarchical unquestionable authority as in magesteriums that have only mythological unproven dysfunctional witness to show for their efforts.
If it is not about survival and healing in all due seriousness, it is not for me!
Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine in Forgive Affirmed Spirit

Send their kids to Camp Quest. That would be a good start.
Intolerance is built into religion. You can't claim that you are God's favorite without implying that everybody else isn't.

Well every Christian I know tolerates Gays. Just would rather not have them teaching my children about themselves, that's all that most Christians desire.
