My husband contacted me after he died.?

If you want to think I'm just crazy, wacko, whatever....that's ok. But for anyone who really wants to be serious, instead of telling me how crazy I am...what do you think this meant? My husband who died 4 years ago came to me and said, "Be careful what you believe in life because it becomes the truth in death." That's just not something I could have thought up myself. What does it mean?

I don't think you are crazy. But, I do think Satan is deceiving you. The Bible says "the dead know nothing!" Jesus wouldn't need to return to resurrect the dead, it they were already in Heaven or Hell. Satan's lies can sound so real. He is powerful and can perform miracles.

I must say I find it odd that you should come here of all places for an explanation of this episode, assuming it happened.

I don't think you're crazy but, if it wasn't actually a dream, I agree with the answerer who said it was a delusion. The human imagination can be very powerful and conjure up all kinds of things especially when people are stressed or depressed.

I do not think you are crazy. My grandmother came to me years ago and she died when my mom was only 2, I never knew her. I believe that we create our own destiny. We are on this planet to learn certain lessons and if those lessons are not finished or wrong, we must face them on the other side. Whatever your belief system is he is trying to tell you that he found out it was incorrect. He is trying to spare you from what he is now facing. You will see him again when you pass, he just wants your journey to be simpler than his.

I sincerely believe that you think it was your late husband contacting you.
However the Bible clearly teaches that the dead are not able to do this.
Eccl.9:5:For the living are conscious that they will die,but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all."
Gen.3:19:"...until you return to the ground,for out of it you were taken.For dust you are and to dust you will return."
The Bible teaches that when we die we are no longer aware of anything.We cease to exist. Jesus likened it to a deep sleep.At John11:11-14 we can read:"He [Jesus]said to them:'Lazarus, our friend has gone to rest,but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.'Therefore,the disciples said to him:'Lord,if he has gone to rest,he will get well'.Jesus had spoken,however,about his death.But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep.At that time,therefore,Jesus said to them outspokenly:'Lazarus has died.'
God's enemies,Satan and his demons want nothing more than to spread lies and trick people into believing untruths.You only have to go back to the account in Genesis where Satan lied to Adam and Eve.
Unfortunately it wasnt your husband who contacted you,but more than likely it was a demon.They have had thousands of years to study man and it is no difficult task for them to imitate us.
Take comfort in knowing that your husband remains in God's memory and is awaiting a resurrection.(Acts.24:15)
