No. It's proof that people dance around questions.

Put it this way, until the average Christian decides to take some classes in Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek; First and Second Temple Judaism, Hellenistic society and culture; Halachic, Haggadic and Mishnaic Judaism, they will never have a single solitary clue as to what they read. To them it is just a bible. To the educated it is something entirely different.

Yes, I agree completely...
No one is willing to admit that we DO NOT KNOW the complete story of what was going on 2000 years ago. and just saying "believe that Jesus died for your sins" DOES NOT EXPLAIN the Bible. And it does not even explain the Sermon on the Mount!
In fact, that Pauline Gospel seems to CONTRADICT the Sermon on the Mount, which is all about how we have to CHANGE. (not change our belief, but change our THINKING AND ACTIONS)
And Christian have yet to find that path out of darkness... they are still suffering.
So I think I know what you are talking about... or that is my assumption anyway.
This resource goes into great detail on how the message in the Bible has been distorted by "modern theology." Perhaps this is part of what you are noticing.

A couple of the previous answers weren't all bad. Your question was a little vague. Scripture is YHVH's offer of salvation to mankind. It is a marriage contract. Take His name with power (not in vain) and follow His rules. Believers followed Torah for 300 years after the death of Messiah, until obedience was outlawed by "Christians". Yes, "Christians" don't understand the bible. If one understands, and accepts scripture he chooses not to be a "Christian".

I actually saved this to my watchlist so I could come back to it to give you a well thought out answer, rather than just a quick one.
I think now, you were not so serious after all.
For the most part, your answerers didn't appear to be Christian, but for two.
So, what to do? If you are serious, I can tell you.

You are looking for people to back up your own thoughts, and preconceived answers to your own questions. The Bible tells us that at present we are looking at things through a dark glass, but in God's time we will see everything clearly. Christians are those who have accepted the Word of God, given to us by his Son our Lord and Saviour. We come from all walks of life, but we have Faith in our Hearts.

Many Christians do not understand the Bible, but your Q & A is not the proof. "Accepting Jesus" is NOT being a Christian. I was not raised Christian. It took years for me to accept that Jesus is the son of God. After I did, I still wasn't a Christian. Satan knows Jesus and believes that He is the Son of God. That is not enough. Make Jesus your best friend. Talk to Him everyday. Come to Him with problems and thanksgiving. Who you hang around with, you become like. Hang around with Jesus, become like HIm.

I'm a Christian and I answered you ... go back and read it again, it's a pretty simple straightforward thing.
You want me to sum up the entire Bible for you on one answer in Q&A forum? Perhaps it really is that you don't understand that you ask too much; and besides you really are supposed to figure it out on your own.

How do you know any of them are even Christians?? They might have been just messin with you. Get a grip and get over what ever happened to you in the past that made you hate Christians so much and just be happy! It's why God made us!!

No, I would say that it is tangible proof that you really are Lost, and a little dazed and confused also.
