If no one can see Christ doing works of faith, hope and love in what i do and am becoming, then I am not existentially a Christian at all.

I like the question, I sure hope others can see Christ in me, otherwise I'm doing something seriously wrong and I hope someone tells me! lol
But I have to disagree with your statement about John the Baptist and Jesus. I must say that the ones who had them killed knew EXACTLY who they were, that's why they set about to kill them. Why would they fear (and they were afraid) that which is false? But when truth hits you in the face and you don't like what it looks like, then you become afraid and want it destroyed.
Jesus was not the warrior / avenger / king that the Jews were looking for; but make no mistake, they saw that He was God.

That you show Christ until he come, is the challenge. You are right. If Christ truly indwells the Christian, then the light of Christ will shine from them. I have been happy to have met a few so endowed. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

That is such a nice sentiment. I think we can only see Christ in those who have accepted the Spirit of Christ in them. And for those, yes, we should always try to see Christ in them and love one another. Not that we shouldn't love non-believers but our love for them is different than our love for believers.

I want to be a "guiding light" to all that I am around. If I can spread an "uplifting spirit" to others, then I have achieved my goal. One must be humble in order to follow God's Will. I wish you much peace.

I would think it fair that you ask my wife & children and those who know me at the church I regularly attend, my coworkers on my job, and my neighbors. I do not live a lie and I am confident of the conclusion.

The truth is that people see what they want to see. I love my Lord and Savior, and I will tell that to people so that they do not have to guess.
