Usually anti-inflammatory meds, they might inject steroids. However The best I found was Pilate's, when they told me to put weight on my elbow and I said 'Umm, no do not think so, it hurts!' Anyway they did not take NO for an answer, slowly got the weight on the elbow and hey presto, cure!
Good Luck

i had tendinitis of the elbow recently, went to my chiropracter and he adjusted it, also put ice on it for a few days, then started with heat pads. Rest the area very well or you will reinjure it. Takes a long time to go away completely-maybe 4 to 6 months.

Go to your regular doctor and get a cortisone shot for instant relief, then follow through with ice packs if necessary or heat.
Anti-inflammatory and other drugs are helpful.
