we have 2 block walls, and have purchased a self supporting roof but no clear instructions with it...any idea?

assuming that the roof rafters are self supporting ..i would suggest you fix an 8 by 2 joist to the wall of the house ..fix it very firmly ..then attache the roof to that ..you will need a wall plate the other end ..use a 4 by 2 .and strap it to the wall its very important that you fix firmly to the wall joist
