if it were proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that your Jesus was nothing more than a Myth? If it were proven that your Jesus in fact never did rise from the dead after 3 days and was simply an ordinary Rabbi? Or even if it were proven that this Man never existed and was simply an adaptation of other religious figures? Please do not answer with "this will never happen as my Jesus is real". That is not what i am asking. Thank you.

Once again, I am not asking for what you believe to be true. Just what you would do if this were proven to be true. There is in fact more proof that Jesus was a Myth than that he was a real Man. I am asking though what you would think and feel if this were proven completely.

Please explain to me how i am ignorant for not believing that your Jesus existed? Please provide me with proof. Aside from your Bible. Be honest with yourself and actually look for proof of this Man that is not in the Bible. You can quote Josephus if you wish. He is one of the only people to even mention this Jesus. He was also a known liar.

I do not hate your Jesus. I just do not believe he existed. I think that the message this Christ was supposed to have given was a good one.
I have plenty of reasons for "not commiting suicide" other than living for a God. It is sad that you have no other reason.

What would I do? Nothing. Maybe convert to Judaism, since I was originally following a false Messiah. The Jews are still waiting for their Messiah, and I guess I would be, too.
I guess I'd have to stop eating bacon. And no more schnitzel either. *Pouts*
You're wrong though. There is NOT more proof that Jesus didn't exist.

Well, my first reaction would probably be "Damn! Now what?" lol but it wouldn't change my belief in a higher power, call it God, Goddess, or whatever. My beliefs are a bit different though, and do not fit into what most call Christianity. It took a lot to get me to believe in Jesus to begin with. I don't believe all the stuff that the churches teach about him. I think he was married, had a kid, lived like us. How could he get us if he didn't? It wasn't until I read a book called The Jesus Family Tomb (by Simcha Jacobovici and Charles R. Pelligrino) that I actually believed of his existence. That gave me the archaeological, statistical, and historical proof I needed. I have been a practicing witch for 13 years and I don't think that will ever go away...it would just have to go back to some nameless entity and the search would be on once again.
Sorry to throw all of my beliefs into my answer but I had to in order to explain where I come from. It is a very strange place lol........

Jesus didn't come into a world that disbelieved in God so the more fundamental question is that of the existence of God. If it were proven that Jesus was a myth, that doesn't really address the question of the existence of God.
Our purpose of life is either to seek God or there is no purpose. If we reject God we have to be willing to invent reasons for living (so we can avoid suicide) and then pretend, i.e. delude ourselves, that those reasons for living are the same as our purpose.

No human science can prove my God and his son aren`t true. It is possible they will "prove" this, as Jesus Christ happens to be one of the most unpopular figures ever. This is sad,but true, altough I think this proves all men have conscience and it was planted into each one of us by God.
Why so much hatred toward God and Jesus Christ? There has never been so much negativity and sins on earth and the voice of their conscience maked individuals turn against and speak against God.
No man can prove God and Jesus Christ don`t exist.

If this were proven, I would be sad for a bit. But it would not change my belief in God. And I would still consider the commandment, "Treat others as you want to be treated" one of the most profound rules over devised.

Thank you very much for telling the complete and utter truth. At least there is someone in this section of whom isn't brainwashed or rather dim. Lol I will probably get a great batch of thumbs down for this answer.

if he did not exist or he did not rise from the dead than we would be all wasting our time living for him, It's a good thing he does exist and has raised from the dead, hey.
