Terrorists and criminal detainees deserve only the finest, chocolates on pillows, room service, world-class dining service, spa services and the like.

Anything less would be a violation of human rights. Abdul deserves his duck with mango chutney!

No, the Army shouldn't provide detention amenities comparable to 5 star hotels. The Army doesn't provide that for their own soldiers...so why would they provide that to someone trying to kill their soldiers?

What are human rights exactly? Detainees have the right to blink, breathe, smile, frown, sit, stand, walk, run (in place), talk, be quiet, pray, read, eat, drink, use the bathroom, and sleep. What else do they need? As far as I can tell they have food, water, and shelter...anything else is a luxury they don't rightfully deserve as far as I'm concerned.

Honestly, I think that all Terrorists that are being held as detainees should be treated as what they are. Prisoner's of War. And any information that can be acquired should be extracted within reason.

And for your Abdul, he should be fed with slop that any other institution serves. Its Gitmo, not the Ritz. Duck with Mango Chutney, you have got be kidding.

A lot of good answers for great hotels. About the places to avoid stay in the main tourist areas and you will be fine. Phuket is safe place but there were a couple tourist recently that were robbed when but they were riding the motorbike around the island and were if a far away place from the tourist area. Also a lot of tourist have accident on the motorbike. Maybe safer for you to take tuk-tuk the small taxi. And it's cheap also. Good luck with your surgery. Phuket will be a great place to heal.

I say a nice 6ft by 6ft cell with a cot & a toilet/sink & a nightstand to put their Quran on & that should be sufficient enough. It pisses me off to think that a detainee in those prisons get better amenities than some actual citizens in our country. What pisses me off more is that it is our tax dollars that are being used to "please their human right." They probably have no problem being detained because the media circus made it were they live better there than they did at their homes. It's retarded & sickening.

Terrorists need to be treated like their animals. I say to hell with all the things they think they need. I say feed them pork only. They have no problem killing anyone, I say treat them the same way. Put them to work on chain gangs, and if they try and run, string them up and whip them.

They are getting their rightful treatment in GITMO including room service with a smile. If we make it any better for them they will claim we are violating their rights to be held as suspected Muslim Fundamentalist Terrorists! :-P

Why should suspected terrorists get better "ammenities" than our own soldiers? Besides, they would just ruin it because it's "American." They have food and shelter....what more could they need?

I spend most of my nights tossing and turning for fear that the terrorists are not treated to the finest that America has to offer.

No, we should not allow the press to be involved. If they weren't involved who would know what was going on there?
