I agree somewhat. l find milk to be a vile, mucous producing, phlegm thickening, nasty substance. It does not, however, make you 'big and fat like a cow', anymore so than any other single food. Milk has some nutritional value, though l don't think it out weighs the vile qualities. I use it to cook sometimes, or in coffee or tea. Other than that, I give it a full miss.

Well, taste goes well w/ some things... but it's more cultural than anything. Goats milk used to be more popular, and still is in many parts of the world.
As for the "vegan" thing. Remember that vegetables tend to be grown on farms, and that farms either use nitrate fertilizers or "go organic" with manure. Manure, of course, is cow crap.
Either way you go, it's not exactly pleasant... lol. Life's like that.

So how many baby cows(calf) are there in a herd?
How much can they drink? So why can't they share their milk with the humans?
Besides, think about how the cows would feel if they didn't get milked by a human? Imagine....

I think people started drinking milk because it's a way to get something very nutrional from a cow without having to slaughter it.
Especially in ancient times, cows were an excellent way of turning something useless (grass) into something usefull (milk!).

COW MILK is rich in vitamins and minerals esp. calcium which is needed by our body to strengthen our bones and have healthy teeth. calcium is also needed by our heart and muscles to function well. it also has glucose and fats which give us energy and protein which help in the repair of our worn out cells. in fact, milk is one of the complete meal we can take. it also has vitamins which regulates or serve as catalysts in the body's metabolism. but milk can cause GI disturbances to people who are lactose intolerant. lactose intolerant people can't digest the lactose carbohydrate content of milk. if you dont want to get big and fat then take the LOW FAT MILK! that simple! and don't use God's name in any way like this!

I hate milk on its own. Has to be a super sugary banana milkshake, or a frosty chocolate one. Yummm

Because it is healthy for you, and it helps to keep your bones strong, and it gives you CALCIUM which you need. Milk helps you to keep from getting Osteoporosis.

it has it's nutritional value, but humans are the only creatures in nature that see fit to continue to use it when they're no longer babies. we really don't need it. you can get calcium and vitamins from many other sources.
