Hello!

Recently I have been having what I am quite sure is hip pain. It is a throbbing pain and it is in my bone. I get the throbbing in my femur and lower back (back of hip)
The pains comes on suddenly and can last from 5 - 40 seconds.

I am worried because the pain is in my bone.
Sometimes when I walk the pain becomes constant at the joint.

Sometimes I get the throbbing in my knee bone and my other hip bone although these two things are rare.

What could this be?
My friend has had bone cancer so Im scared of that.
Thanks and what should I do?

Im a teenager female btw.

Sometimes having arthritis (which relates to the joints) can cause pain to refer to the bones as well.

I would recommend that you let your mom know what is going on as well and also your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
