I just got fired from my job today. The reason why is because I didn't give them my social security card number. I lied to them about my age. I told them I was 18 when in actuality I am only 15. Will they be able to pay me for the hours I worked?

They legally have to pay you for the hours you actually worked. But the CAN'T legally pay you for the hours until you give them your social security number.

If you'd just given it to them in the first place, they wouldn't have known from that how old you are, although the IRS and social security people have that info - companies don't check that. But as you've learned, lying on an application is pretty likely to end up getting you fired.

They should pay you as you have done work under a contract for them. Being underage is a seperate issue as the company would have liability to insurance and employment law as you were only 15.

They should not have hired you until you provided your Social Security number. You have no excuse for not doing this.
