No as long as it is real meat like chicken, fish beef, etc.
Not that processed stuff like chicken strips or chicken Patties. Or beef pattie or fish patties. All that junk is, is mostly salt, flour meal etc.ground up and pressed together under around 2,000 pounds square inch.
Then it is cooked as soon as it comes out of the forming machine.
After it's cooked it is run through a blast freezer which is around -40 degrees below zero.
Then it is bagged and shipped to the places like Burger King, McDonald's the grocery stores etc.
That junk, is not in no way, no how, good for humans let alone cats.
I've worked in a food processing plant by the way that's how I know what that junk is made out of and how it is made.

Kittens & cats will not get the proper nutrition from people food.
They need a good quality food that is made for them.
Human food can cause a lot of health problems in cats. A little bit of a treat is fine now & then, but a steady diet of what people eat is NOT healthy for cats (heck, most of it isnt' healthy for US)

DO NOT FEED CATS HUMAN FOOD!!!! It is horrible for them. I won't mention the heart disease and stroke the levels of cholesterol causes in cats. However, I will tell you that cats cannot digest fun stuff like sugar, chocolate and carbohydrates and that causes feline diabetes. Chocolate, by the way, is poisonous in ongoing doses for cats. As is sugar. Cats are carnivours. They eat meat. That's it. They don't eat human food. Giving them the occassional piece of chicken or turkey or steak might be okay (enough to fit in the palm of your hand once in a while). However, they can do without the rest of the human food crap. Otherwise, buy a new wing on your vet's office, because that's where your money is going to be going.

the Kitten is probably just trying every thing finding out what he or she likes .
It is perfectly normal for a kitten to like people food.
The way I look at it is "If its good enough for me its good enough for kitty
For my cat it is fine as I only eat fresh foods (I wont eat box ,canned or frozen foods) in my case a little wont hurt just make sure you dont give Kitty alot of fatty foods

NO!!
Cats need to eat cat food, it has the proper nutrition for them!
BTW; you should be feeding it kitten food (for the same reasons) If it's old enough, use dry food, it helps to keep their teeth clean (no "anti-freeze" breath)
I use Hill's Science Diet Oral Care (it's the best for adult cats, IMHO)

Absolutely not. It needs to be fed a high quality KITTEN food (not cat food as others mentioned - not enough protein). "High quality" means not garbage from WalMart of the grocery store. Human foods can make cats VERY sick - especially kittens - so please stop giving it your food.

I'd have to say that there's a big chance that it's not because human food, what nutrients humans need, and the human body is different that of a cat's. What's good for us may be like poison for them.

you should avoid giving your kitten table scraps. stick to high quality kitten food and treats designed for cats/kittens. if you really want to give your kitten a human food treat, give kitty a scrap of deli meat. never give a cat cows milk.
