I've checked my credit report at annualcreditreport.com but is there anywhere I can get my credit score free with out giving my credit card #?

FICO credit scores are not free. You have to enroll in a credit reporting program (which there are many) to see your credit scores from all three agencies.

Some credit card companies (WAMU, Providian to name a few) will give you one of your scores with your monthly on line statements for free.

Not unless there is a promotion running. Law only requires your credit report to be given. There are many scoring systems. A credit score report from equafax is only $7. Usually when you go to a bank and try to get a loan you can ask them what your score was.
