Dawg, I can't give a 'nuf thumbs up.

I AM rolling!

Dawg, stop! Your killing me.

Indeed. The $10 raffle ticket for the pink "lifestyle" camera would probably net you $300 alone.

Yes Dr. Sam you're quite right. But don't forget the practical part of the session where they all try what they were just taught - and get side tracked asking each other how pretty they are....easily kill an hour.

Edit: Between the 3 of us I think we just tripled your earnings, put on a free class - charge for the food and drinks...and give a free pink camera to the winner of the whose prettiest contest.

Yeah, except you would make about a buck from each participant, since you can tell someone how to do this in about 3 minutes.

DAWG - I thought the rest of the hour would be best used by serving lunch.

EDIT - Okay, see http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/1972624910/ for a 10 second technique!

You can start your class by saying, "First, you need to buy Photoshop." When the moaning stops, you can tell them that you have arranged for a special student pricing at $100 off the MSRP, having already arranged a $200 discount from Adobe. You know where the other $100 goes.

I'd back that play.

You could spend about five minutes apiece, showing how to do it with the various freewares, old versions of Photoshop, Painter, Paint Sho Pro and Corel.

I'll write you a paragraph on how I used to do it before Photoshop had "layers." All I want is a contributor's credit.

And, maybe, a sandwich.

Naw. You could put a hundred people into a room, but they all want "free" tutorials.

You would be out the cost of the room, though you could charge for lunch and coffee.

Three minutes? It doesn't matter if it can be done in a second or an hour, because you're gonna charge them students "minimal of 1 hour"

:-)
