My brother pretends hes a gangster and acts 'black' (sort of like J-roc from trailer park boys) all of the time. Its been happening for months now and hes making me mad. His attitude has changed too, and it seems hes not interested in anything except getting 'crunk' What should I do?

Hes older than me, and I've trying to convince him he looks stupid for like 5 months, but he just laughs it off :'(. I dont ALWAYS tell him that he does, but like once every day

Also, he got arrested once for using fireworks, and he thinks hes cool because of that.

How old is he? And you? Where do you live (city)? What kinda grades does he get? Does he deal/do drugs? Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc
There are way too many variables on this one, but hopefully he'll grow out of it before he thinks its cool to "Cap A N*g*a" (shoot someone) and ends up with 25-LIFE IN A PENITENTIARY!!!!!! This is no joke, it happens every day. Perhaps you should find some positive things that you both are interested in and spend as much time with him as you can. Or even if its just him thats interested (no gettin "crunk" tho:). As long as its positive your keeping him away from whats negative. I have been where your brother is, and what he needs is love and attention from his family. If he doesn't get it there, the next place he will go is his friends, guaranteed! And they don't know s**t about whats good for him. Spend time with him. Love him. Talk to him.

I have a brother who thinks he's a gangster too, the only difference is he is black 6'8 250 lbs, and on trial for double attempted homocide and invasion which i guess makes him one. Being a gangster is not cool, and real thugs at least smart ones leave the hood. and the violent areas where there are sprayings everyday and death so they can actually make something of life, or maybe keep their children/ babys mom/ family safe. When your brother meets a real black person and real gangsters he will put his tight jeans back on around his waist, put on his hollister shirt flip flops and trucker hat and come back to the real world. People like your brother wouldnt last 30 seconds on the street i was raised on, as people who try to be something their not seldom do. Drop him off anywhere on tamarin in palm beach county and youll see what i mean.

Your brother needs an upfront and quick education about gangsters. The people whom he is imitation are NOT GOOD PEOPLE AND THEIR ACTIONS HAVE LEAD TO NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND DEATH.
I would talk to the police about the number of gang members they arrest and for all the different charges they are arrested for.
Good luck with this problem.

Christ on a crutch....my kid did that starting in junior high! Drove me nuts....he'll grow out of it. He's just being a wannabe is all.

My boy is now almost 17. He's actually figuring out that being someone he's not looks foolish. Praise God.....only took him 3 damn years.....ugh

Like is he younger or older?? If he's younger i think its becuz people are pressuring him for being weak or something (not saying he is) or mabye its becuz he has seen it on TV if hes older its maybe bcuz he wants to be part of a kind of group or something and people are just making him feel awkwward.

Just let him be. He's his own person. If you think he's about to get into trouble, of course you should speak with him and your parents.

most important encourage him to be himself and, if it bothers you so much try not to show it and soon you probably wont even think about at all.
