I want to send some stuff over to America, do they let it in? Everything is sealed : ie sweets, chocolate, mini pavlova, jar of Vegemite....

Will they get through customs, or will i have problems? Im not sure >.<

TY for your help guys ^^.

No, im not Australian, im from New Zealand ;). And I love Vegemite...tis yummy. I find it VERY funny that it's what most fussy kids eat on their toast, when they won't have peanut butter etc, but that I have not met a foreigner yet that likes the taste o.o

As long as it is mailed and sealed properly, they will let you mail it. But they will not let you bring it through customs in your suitcase......believe me, I've tried bringing "real" Vienna sausage from Austria and they caught me red handed in Chicago, O'Hare and took all of my sausages! They did tell me however, that you could mail food into the US. Good luck!

yes-exceptions are like fresh food-fruits and vegetables, meat and fish of course-
most dried/packaged foods are OK-like candies and cereals
