One group says, "The charges are too serious to ignore. There is credible evidence that the Vice President abused the power of his office, and not only brought us into an unneccesary war but violated the civil liberties and privacy of American citizens. It is the constitutional duty of Congress to hold impeachment hearings?

Agreed or No?

It's funny. Every time this comes up (which is daily) no one can present actual impeachable offenses. On top of that with a dimocrap controlled congress they could actually bring articles of impeachment but they don't. Now that means one of four things are true.

1. Either you armchair politicians know more about the law and it's application than the people who are charged with handling these matters.

2. Unlike your beloved crook Clinton (the male not the almost male) Bush and Cheney have not committed an impeachable offense.

3. Your impotent congress is as unable to figure out how to run the government as their polls show.

4. 2 and 3 are right.

I think Cheney is the real president to be honest. I think the both of them should go on trial for high treason. War crimes. They make me sick they need to all get out of office! At this rate they are going to crumble us. I really wish we could stop them.

If this had any real traction, Pelosi et al would have had him done already. She and the other congressional leadership know, that there isn't anything to charge him, or President Bush with.

It's a Straw man argument at best.

This is a real snooze. Dick Cheney's crime is the fact that he is not an unhinged socialist. Any other political bent will have the leftist loonies crying for their heads.

The Ultra left has not had a political victory in years, the only way they can increase their political power is through activist judges (fewer and farer between) and phony scandals.

I actually love the newest one; they are accusing the CIA of keeping secrets. Do they not know how ridiculous they sound?

Cheney should be impeached because it's too hard to impeach Bush!

Yes, he should be impeached. The is the puppeteer and Bush is his puppet. Bush should also be impeached. They should also be tried for war crimes. Oh, and they both should be taken for a few waterboarding rides.
