i asked this girl out like twice and then she kept cancelling on me. so i just backed off... then she starts talking to me alot out of nowhere. but i kinda backed off already. we have a fun time together, but its just her ship kinda sailed....
now whenever i see her we dont say anything but we wave at each other all the time and just smile and look at each other....
is that sexual tension? in a classroom full of 300 ppl during the lecture, i saw her on the other side, and we just waved at each other. do u think she finds that romantic?

Theres nothing sexual about it. You said she backed out twice when you asked her out, maybe all the waving and looks you are getting is a signal that she's ready and she wants you to ask her out again.

Yes, finding and waving to each other in a crowd that large is romantic. If you have backed off already, though, don't lead her on. Sounds to me like you are still interested.

With this type of reaction on both of your parts, count yourself lucky that you did not invest more in the relationship.
But, it also sounds like that if you had invested more time and understanding she might have responded differently.
She may be just avoiding complications with you because you focused on your own wants and disappointment of being canceled rather than why she canceled!

No that's not romantic, it just means you two might have a crush an each other. You sound like you never had a girlfriend. Romantic is when two people have a nice dinner, and they cuddle together. Or then walk at night together alone..This is just a simple crush thing..

Well I don't think this girl is on the same wave lenght as you. In fact I think she would be shocked if she found out what you were thinking and very surprised!!! I think she is just acting friendly and nothing more but I could be wrong.

I dont think you know what sexual tension means. Its kinda like when two people are attracted to each other, and want to have sex, but cant/dont. Like, there can be sexual tension between you and your boss/friends spouse/friend etc.
Besides, it sounds like she doesnt really like you and is just being friendly. Or maybe just wants to be friends and thats it.

I don't think so. I'll admit that I've acted like her in the past and typically, when I get to the place where you currently are, it's because I'm finally convinced that the guy isn't interested in me anymore and I can relax around him again. I hope that makes sense.

You need to go forward, tell her you want to date her and also tell her that you don't want to be disappointed by her changing her plans at the last moment!
