If you're dating someone that you really, really like, but you feel like you'll end up breaking his heart, do you end things? Or do you see what happens, anyway?

If you "really, really like" him, then don't worry about what might happen in the future. Maybe, later on down the road, if something were to happen and you wouldn't want to be together anymore, the feeling will be mutual. Breaking up with him just because you're afraid to break his heart in the future could end up just breaking his heart now.

Well, I would just go with the flow. I would not break his hear and end things because then if things take a turn for the better and work out then you would have hurt him for nothing. Once you break up with someone the pain from both people is there and apparent. Make sure you want to break up with someone before you break up with them.

ending things and waiting to see what happens are both basically the same thing with one exception. The future is unknown, thus you dont know what will happen. end it now and brake his heart, or stick around and enjoy the extra time you have together. You could be wrong about braking his heart on the long run, so i say stick around see how things go.

Sounds like you already know he isn't the person for you? Better to end it sooner than later. No, it isn't an easy thing to do but staying in that relationship isn't fair to either of you. It could end badly if you stay longer than you should.... those things have a way of unraveling when they are not meant to be.
