Would you except a job where you were not allowed to talk about your spouse, or tell someone that your married?

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I have never heard of a job that required you to surrender your constitutional rights of free speech.
We are talking to American citizens, right? I can see that most jobs do NOT have as a cornerstone of the job religious speech, so normal discretion is in order, but being actually forbidden to say or use the name of Christ, I would ask the person requesting this to put it in writing on company letterhead and sign it so my attorney can review it for constitutionality: http://aclj.org/

To not be allowed to say the name of Jesus does not mean you are denying him. To deny him you would say you do not believe in him.
There are many places we cannot mention Jesus name. We are living in the time of the anti-christ. The spirit is here now and will carry us to the great tribulation where anyone that does not give honor to the anti-christ will be killed.
We have to go by the rules of where we work. But Jesus knows our hearts.

Does this mean christians will be staying out of public schools and government jobs then? That's great!

Of all the christians I have ever worked with, not one of them was ever asked to deny their belief, for some strange reason. What do you suppose that was?

The word is "accept" not "except" BTW.

Good point. The only way I would is if I felt strongly that the Lord guided me to work there. He is working His behind the scenes works through us and who knows, perhaps He would guide someone to a place like that to meet a fellow employee or associate and get to know them on a personal basis to witness or encourage them. But one thing I know. I wouldn't last long in a job like that because eventually I would mention His name and get fired. lol When I worked retail they told us to say "happy holidays" and I kept saying Merry Christmas to everyone. I got more customers saying to me that they were glad to hear people still wishing others Merry Christmas.

PLEASE, would you thumpers learn the difference between accept and except, your and you're, there, they're, and their? How do you expect people to fall for intelligent design with y'all looking so dumb?
As to your question, not being allowed (not aloud, allowed) to speak the name jesus aloud (not allowed, aloud) is not at all the same as denying him. Relax, take the job. All jobs are soul-killing anyway. So sayeth the atheist.

A job isn't the place to proselytize, it's a place to earn a living. So yes, it's fine to a job where you don't talk about religion. Not proselytizing is not the same thing as denying God. It isn't either/or.

No I wouldn't because the Lord wont give me a job if I cannot give him Honor and Glory, I love him too much to hurt his feelings...

I'm really not sure what kind of jobs you've been looking at... but I'm pretty sure that no one has ever been canned for saying someone's name.... I don't suggest you answer your desk phone "Good afternoon, I love Christ!"

There's a difference between discussing and actively seeking converts.

Nobody where I work wants to hear me drone on and on (and on...) about any one topic.

It's okay as long as we do not deny Christ. Work is work.
