She eats ice all the time. She craves ice often. Pagophagia is a form of PICA and this specific type includes people who eat ice caused by an iron deficiency. Sometimes when we hang out she alwys asks if she can have some ice. I heard that if you do have pagophagia, you could be bleeding internally, is that true? AND, why would someone be addicted to ICE if they don't have enough IRON? Does ice contain iron or something? Can you please explain?

ummmm ive never heard of that form. ive heard of pica and how people eat anything and everything. i just dont see how ice would have anything to do with iron. she may just be obsessed with ice.

Does she crave pennies, dimes, nickels, etc.? That would be a good indication.
