If you're happy and your parents are happy that's all that matters. It apparently bothers you on some level or you wouldn't be asking the question.
I would suggest you think about something, though. Are you still living with your parents because you're happy there or are you avoiding having to take resposibility for living your own life? Life is often not easy for a lot of people. We all have our problems and our issues to deal with. Sometimes it's easier to stay where we are, in our comfort zone, than to push past the limits of what feels safe and try something new. Sometimes if we try something new, even though it's scary, we find a strength we weren't aware we had.
Only you can decide what's right for you. But if it's fear that's keeping you there, try to challenge yourself little by little each day. Do something that scares you and each time you do you'll gain a little more confidence.

I've met people like you -- It's not a very wholesome thing for someone your age to be living at home with the parents. Life isn't easy for most people, but they find solutions. Depending on Mom & Dad isn't one of them.

By age 44 you should have been long-since married and probably had children. You should own your own place by now.
Most women will not bother with a guy who never launched away from his parents' home... they want a guy that has cut the apron strings and is independent.

no. Grow up and move out. Stop scamming on our parents and get on with live. Maybe the reason that you are still single is because you live with your parents. Girls want someone that is independent and can wake up in the morning without you mom there to make her breakfast.

I know several people like you!! I don't think theres anything wrong with it, most of the people I know that live with their parents it's becasue they are helping them because they are older. if you are their support system then be happy. if they are yours thats great to but you need to be your own person too. when helping loved ones its easy to get lost. join a community organization to get out of the house for a lil while, your needed other places to, you just dont know it yet!!

then what is the problem if you are not on drugs and are well educated then why have you not grown up and left the nest, i love my children deeply but they need to be on their own and not living in my home, they need to live their own lives privately even if your folks say it dosen't bother them i think they are just trying to not hurt your feelings
